The Church

The Bridge is a non-denominational church that embraces the inspired Word of God and the fullness of the Holy Spirit. We exist to fulfill the mandate of the great commission and the great commandment. We are a community of believers that know we have a destiny. We come together in unity supporting one another in reaching our potential and fulfilling our destiny. We are a bridge that empowers you to reach your destiny.

The Bridge has a functional structure that helps facilitate the process of Christian growth and development. This process will take you through studies and opportunities that will bring you into a place of confidence in knowing your purpose and destiny. We call this
5 D’s to Destiny: Discover, Develop, Design, Demonstrate and Deploy.

The Pastor

John and Nancy BurpeeDr. John G.L.Burpee is from Maine and he and his wife Nancy have lived in Lincoln, Nebraska for over twelve years. Pastor served our country for nine years in the United States Air Force. Three of those years he served in Southeast Asia with his home base, Clark Air Force Base, Philippines.

Pastor and his wife have two children: Chad and Julie and three grand-children Jackson, Grayce and Danielle.

Pastor attended: Faith School of Theology, Charleston, Maine, Central Bible College, Springfield Missouri, Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, Springfield, Missouri,
Destiny School International, Spring Hill, Florida.

Pastor and his wife enjoy riding their Harley Davidson around the country.
